NuWho Companions, simplified by Tiffany!

So! I'm gonna summarize the companions the Doctor has had since 2005.

So let's get to it!

First, we find a young blonde named Rose Tyler travelling with the Ninth doctor after he saves her from random plastic mannequins being controlled by a weird alien thing that controls plastic polymers (specific, neh?).

Leaving her mother and boyfriend behind to explore space and time, Rose stays with the Doctor until he regenerates again, and a bout of aprehension on her part, she learns to trust this 'new' Doctor.

After something happens with the TARDIS, making the Doctor, Rose, and Mickey (Rose's ex-boyfriend) trip into an alternate dimension, and after trying to stop a heinous operation by Torchwood that involves 'ghosts' that were actually alien things, Rose is nearly killed but instead, is saved in the nick of time by her alternate-dimension father, trapping her in that alternate realm.

After saying a last tearful goodbye, the Tardis brings him back to the right dimension, which is when he meets 'The Bride', Donna, which he travels with for one episode after accidentally stealing her from her wedding.

When he gets her back, after a messy fiasco that involved the Queen of the Racnoss, the Doctor finds himself lonely again.

It's then he stumbles upon a med student named Martha.

He then proceeds to go on a few adventures through time with her, before she decides it's too much for her, and she can't handle it (wimp).

I could go on about the Christmas special, but seeing as I'm nice, I won't give it away. Very Happy

Oh, but WAIT. One more!

There is another, who's stuck beside (and once, very close to) the Doctor for years. His name...is Captain Jack Harkness.

No explanation needed. Jack is just pure awesome.

Which is probably why the made a spin-off show named 'Torchwood' in which he's the ring leader.

Hey excellant start, but you have to give the Companions a thread to them self.. That way you could give them a bigger bio.. add a small pic then work through the story of them and the doctor.. and we could add our fav pics of that companion.

1) One thread per companion.. This forum is for the love of all the companions and we have to be fair to all.
